I use Yamaha pianos and keyboards. Keyboards live, I favour the Yamaha P35 - it's light for the guys to move around but has 88 weighted keys for a 'real' feel.
In the studio I've used Yamaha half grands and most recently the full size C7 Grand, all lovely to use, but the C7 is superb.
Been using my fab Sontronics Aria for studio recording, fantastic quality and the sound's amazing as are the lovely flight case and wooden mic protector!
Sontronics have been nominated in the best mic category for the SoundONSound awards
At live gigs I'm using Schure Beta or sometimes its cheaper cousin the Schure SM58 it all depends on the space...
For studio recording I use the Sontronics Aria -absolutely-fab-a valve/tube cardioid condenser mic.
(We tested loads of different mics at Metropolis studios and this is the one we all agreed on. Maybe, like Harry Potter's wand, I didn't choose it, it chose me)
Built in the UK and really top quality definitely not cheap but that sound...
